Most of our clients buy in bulk to have hours in their account so any maintenance updates can be made without delay. Do you support all website platforms?
We support all popular website platforms including WordPress, Adobe Business Catalyst, Squarespace, Shopify, Magento, Woo Commerce, Joomla, Drupal, Big Commerce, Open Cart, PrestaShop, X-Cart, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Muse, Wix, Weebly, Sugar CRM, XT:Commerce, Webflow, Jimdo, LightCMS and many more. Can you update all websites?
We can update most websites, however, business owners are sometimes given restricted access by their web developers so the developers can retain control. Unfortunately this means we will be restricted to update certain parts of the website as well unless we are provided with administrator access.
How long will it take?
We know your business information and website is important. Depending on the type of the request, we aim for your website maintenance to be performed between 1-3 business days. Minor updates are typically done in 24 hours or less and larger tasks can take between 4-7 business days.
How many hours will I need?
The amount of time required for each task is varied and depends on the request. All tasks are billed in 15 minute increments so we recommend grouping your minor tasks together where possible to take best advantage of the time. A typical half hour update could contain the following:
- Review of task
- Update text and images on 1-2 pages
- Proof read, spell check and browser testing
- Upload updates
- Check live site

Yes we offer a full refund of unused hours at any time. Unused hours expire after 12 months.

What do you need from me to get started?
If you have a Content Management System (CMS) such as WordPress, Adobe Business Catalyst, Squarespace etc, we’ll need your admin login. This is typically a username and password that you were supplied on signup. Some systems allow you to invite external administrators which would be preferable.
If you don’t have a CMS then we’ll need your web hosting FTP details. This is typically a server name (ftp.yourwebsite.com), username and password. If you’re not sure what these are you can ask your web hosting provider.

Does your WordPress hosting include maintenance?
Yes it includes regular backups, security monitoring and monthly WordPress core, theme & plugin updates.
Why do I need monthly WordPress maintenance?
With each new release of WordPress, developers fix bugs, add features and patch security vulnerabilities. If you don’t update, it’s guaranteed you will be hacked sooner rather than later.
Can I use the web hosting for email?
We recommend keeping your email & web hosting separate for a few reasons:
- If your website hosting goes down for any reason, so will your email.
- If you ever wanted to move your website to new hosting, it’s much easier.
- The total storage allowance includes website files plus any email accounts so you will quickly run out of storage space with multiple email accounts.

Is Maintain My Website the email host?
No, we have partnered with VentraIP & Microsoft. We manage the hosting for you including being your first point of contact for technical support.
Do you offer refunds?
You may cancel service at any time by contacting us and requesting cancellation of services.
Due to the cancel anytime nature of this agreement we shall not be compelled to issue a refund, pro-rated or otherwise. We do reserve the right to issue a refund on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion.
